Visit Queen Victoria's summer home!
Bring history to life and get a real insight into the private lives of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert and their children at Osborne. Their home can teach many aspect of the curriculum across numerous subjects in a fun and engaging way. Get hands-on with a Discovery Visit such as that led by the formidable costumed interpreter Mrs Pilkington. During the session pupils will step into the world of a servant and discover what life was like "below stairs"!
As well as the impressive period main house to tour, there are extensive grounds and even a private beach with Victoria's own bathing station, the Swiss Cottage (playhouse for the young princes and princesses) and gardens, including a walled garden.
