A Romano-British farmhouse constructed in 280AD and rediscovered in 1926 when the owners of a nearby house sank foundations for a new garage. Subsequent excavations revealed extensive remains of a farmhouse built around 280AD. These well-preserved remains provide a fascinating insight into country life in third century Britain.
