Students will complete 3 activities covering various subjects on-site and the complete a follow-up project at school.
This resource is started on-site with three group activities lasting about 20 minutes each.
On-site and back at school, the project covers a number of subject areas including English, maths, science and the humanities.
It would be useful to cover some of the skills and concepts before the visit. Namely: 1. Labelling body parts of animals 2. Counting objects at a distance 3. What is meant by a number sentence.
Pupils will have demonstrated a range of skills involved in producing a cross-curricular study. They will have practised core number, reading and writing skills.
