Students look at five fascinating things about Godshill Model Village. They draw lines to connect the statement on the left to the correct answer on the right.
This is a history resource that engages students with their visit to The Model Village at Godshill. The resource task enables them to learn some key facts about the attraction, and to use literacy skills to construct sentences.
Students are asked to match several openers to endings.
This is a short task that students can complete on-site or in the classroom post-visit.
Students need no other resources and can simply mark their answers on the sheet. Teacher answers are provided on page 2.
Ideally, the resource needs to be completed immediately after (or at the time of) the visit, to be most effective.

Applying knowledge gained on the visit to demonstrate understanding
Literacy skills (constructing full sentences from two halves)
Students will identify the correct endings to openers relating to The Model Village and some of its interesting features or facts. They will show a clear understanding of why The Model Village remains popular over time.
