Précis

Students are asked to read a number of short descriptions of specific donkeys. They then answer a set of questions focusing on purpose, meaning and vocabulary before attempting their own description.

Contextual Summary


This resource is designed to be used in the classroom as a post-visit resource. It is a reading comprehension task that engages students with their visit to the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. The resource tasks enable them to practise their reading, writing and spelling skills. Students are asked to read a number of short descriptions of specific donkeys. They then answer a set of questions focusing on purpose, meaning and vocabulary before attempting their own description.
