For students of Edexcel BTEC National Level 3 (Unit 42), an opportunity to use the resources at Dinosaur Isle and the surrounding area to investigate the Island's geological features. Two key areas can be addressed partially here:
1. Know how geological resources are formed by geological processes;
2. Be able to investigate the geology and geological features of an area.
This information resource is for post-16 or adult students who are studying Applied Science BTEC Level 3 (Edexcel board).
Relevant opportunities exist here for any students of Applied Science interested in using the museum and its local resources as a case study, or as part of an investigation, in relation to the units specified by their exam board.
